Research - Best Student Paper Award Winner at the European Conference on Machine Learning
I am the lead author of our paper on "Hyperparameter Learning for Conditional Mean Embeddings with Rademacher Complexity Bounds". This paper won the Best Student ML Paper Award at ECML-PKDD 2018 (European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases).
Teaching - Dean's Faculty Award Winner for Outstanding Tutoring
The award recognises and promotes excellence in facilitating student learning by tutors in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies at the University of Sydney. The faculty consists of five schools. There are 5 School Award Winners and only 1 Faculty Award Winner. I won the 2017 Faculty Award in 2018.
University Medalist
I am a University Medalist at the University of Sydney. I was awarded the University Medal in 2016 along with First Class Honours. The University Medal is awarded to the highest achieving graduate in each degree who has an outstanding academic record. It is a rare honour awarded not by the Faculty, but rather by the University Senate.
